House Campaign: Join us in building a new house for Gamma Phi

The House

condemned-house

Although the Kappa Sigma house on 200 Belmar Ave has been condemned, the chapter has been granted another house through the university due to its outstanding reputation with the University throughout the past year since its re-colonization.

The chapter has filled 28 out of 36 beds in the newly built Kappa Alpha house. The brothers of the chapter intend to use this opportunity to exemplify how a chapter should live in, and respect a house. The brothers understand that this opportunity is a privilege that one should not take for granted. We hope to set an example by living in this house, and redefining how a Fraternity house should be run. This will be achieved by being respectable tenants in all aspects; both to the University, house manager, and guests. Kappa Sigma prides itself on being a gentleman’s fraternity. We have been given the opportunity of a lifetime, and will not take advantage of it.

However, this solution is only temporary.  Our real house resides on 200 Belmar Ave. No matter where Kappa Sigma’s live in the intern, the tradition and memories of 200 Belmar will never be lost. Efforts to renovate and bring the glory of the Kappa Sigma house at West Virginia University are well under way. For more information, contact the chapter GM at Ksalnick@mix.wvu.edu
